Welcome To Lee Abbey Camp Online

We believe that young people are part of the solution not part of the problem
We believe we’re happier when we look out for each other
We believe that life would be better if it was a bit simpler
We believe people should be real
We believe everyone’s got a massive creative streak
We believe some people take themselves too seriously
We believe God is someone who can fill us with awe.

We are Lee Abbey Camp. What do you believe?

If you’re 13-25, Lee Abbey Camp is your chance to escape from normal life for a week or two. It’s your chance to have some fun, meet some new people, and – if you want to – find out what you think about the world and what you think about God.

You get to live on campsite that overlooks the sea. You get to go to sleep under the stars and wake up to the smell of freshly cooked food and the sound of the ocean. You get to play games, hear challenging talks, take part in activities including paintballing and go-karting and learn how to act, dance and juggle. You can make friends for life or just for a week. The only risk is – you might never be the same.

Who are we?

We are part of the Lee Abbey Movement which has been providing people with an opportunity to reflect on life, meaning and God for sixty years. Lee Abbey Camp has been running since 1948 providing young people with the chance to explore these issues surrounded by people their own age. Most of our team (who include teachers, vets, doctors, software engineers, professional entertainers and even management consultants!) are ex-campers and freely give up two weeks of their summer to return to the campsite where their own lives were so radically changed.
